These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Poocharam Matrimony, operated by Sri Sakthi Jothida Nilayam, Bhavani ("we", "us", "our"), accessible at poocharammatrimony.com (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal marriageable age applicable to you under Indian law — currently 21 for men and 18 for women) to register.
• You may register on your own behalf, or on behalf of a family member, only with their knowledge and consent.
• You confirm that you are legally free to marry — i.e. not currently married, unless your profile clearly and truthfully states your marital status (divorced/widowed/separated) as required by law.
• Information you provide (name, date of birth, marital status, photographs, horoscope/documents, etc.) must be true, accurate, and not misleading.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple or duplicate accounts for the same individual is not permitted.
• We reserve the right to verify, suspend, block, or delete any account that appears fraudulent, duplicate, or in violation of these Terms — including profiles reported by other members.

• Certain features — including viewing a match's contact number and full profile details — require an active membership plan or a one-time unlock fee (currently ₹150 per profile), or use of a monthly match quota included with your plan.
• Payments may be made via Razorpay (card / netbanking / instant UPI) or by direct GPay/UPI transfer followed by manual verification. Manually submitted (GPay/UPI) payments are activated only after our team confirms receipt, which may take some time.
• Membership fees, unlock fees, and consultation fees are clearly displayed before payment. Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and may change from time to time; the price shown at the time of payment applies to that transaction.
• Refunds: Membership and unlock fees are charges for access already granted (to the platform's features or to a profile's contact details) and are generally non-refundable once access has been provided, except where required by law or at our sole discretion in case of a verified technical error or duplicate charge. To request a refund review, contact us with your payment reference.
• We are not responsible for amounts paid directly to any third party outside the Platform's official payment flow.

• You agree not to upload photographs, documents, audio, or text that is obscene, defamatory, fraudulent, impersonates another person, or infringes anyone's rights.
• You agree not to use the Platform to harass, threaten, or send unsolicited commercial messages to other members.
• We may, at our discretion, edit, reject, or remove any profile content, photo, or document that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
• Profiles marked "Suggested for you by our team" are recommendations made by our office based on the information available; they are suggestions only and not a guarantee of compatibility, suitability, or marriage outcome.

• Once you unlock a profile's contact information, you are solely responsible for any further communication, verification, and decisions you make in respect of that member.
• We strongly recommend you independently verify the identity, family background, employment, financial status, and marital history of any match before proceeding further — including meeting in the presence of family, requesting original documents, and where appropriate, professional background verification.
• We do not conduct background verification, police checks, or character certification of members unless explicitly stated as a separate paid service, and we make no representation as to the truthfulness of any member's profile.

• The horoscope/jathagam consultation service (currently ₹1,500 per session) is an advisory service provided by our associated astrologer for guidance purposes only.
• Astrological readings, porutham analysis, and recorded audio consultations are opinions based on traditional practice and are not a guarantee of any outcome, compatibility, or future event.
• Decisions relating to marriage, finance, health, or any other matter remain solely your own responsibility.

• If you encounter a fake, fraudulent, or inappropriate profile, please use the "Report this profile" option or contact us directly.
• We reserve the right to investigate reports and to block, suspend, or permanently delete accounts found to be in breach of these Terms, at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide reasons.

• The Platform is a medium to help you find a prospective match; we are not a party to, and do not guarantee, any engagement, marriage, or relationship arising from its use.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, financial loss, emotional distress, or other harm arising from your interactions with other members, inaccurate information provided by members, or your reliance on astrology consultation advice.
• Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding three months.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct harmful to other members or the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Please review this page periodically.
